Penn State's Caedan Wallace Declares for 2024 NFL Draft

Penn State offensive lineman Caedan Wallace, one of the team's most veteran players, will forgo his final season of eligibility and enter the 2024 NFL Draft. Wallace announced that he will do so after the Dec. 30 Peach Bowl, in which Penn State plays Ole Miss.

Wallace is the third Penn State football player to declare for the NFL Draft, joining linebacker Curtis Jacobs and defensive end Chop Robinson. Both Wallace and Jacobs will be with the team for the Peach Bowl. Robinson will forgo the Peach Bowl.

"To everyone that has been a part of my college journey, thank you for making these five years truly special," Wallace wrote in a social media post. "To my village, my friends and family, thank you for the constant love and support. On to the next chapter!"

Wallace started 39 games over the past four seasons at Penn State, the most of any player on the roster. He was named honorable mention All-Big Ten this season, his first all-conference honor. According to Pro Football Focus, Wallace has allowed just one sack in his last 346 pass plays. The 6-5, 328-pound tackle was the coaching staff's offensive player of the game against Iowa. Though he's a fifth-year senior, Wallace technically has one season of eligibility remaining because of the 2020 COVID season.

Wallace is among a large contingent of draft-eligible players who will participate in team activities for the Peach Bowl. No. 10 Penn State plays No. 11 Ole Miss at noon ET on Dec. 30 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
